Night Falling Sky

It was DOMNET DACOSULGEN(Davao, Cotabato, iSUlan, Gensan) Cluster Summit 09, a regional DOMENT in mindanao held in our school last October 15-17,2009 and I'm one of the participant join the DOMNET, the presence of the people/students around you feels the enjoyment and happiness of every student from different schools allows to enjoy the happenings.

The DOMNET Youth Group (DYG) has undertaken various worthwhile projects. These include youth festivals that allow a Dominican student a chance to experience the joy of being a Dominican youth and enable him/her to share his/her talents to others.

During summer, youth camps are held for planning of activities for the school year that will follow. Skills training are done to help prepare the different youth leaders for different task that may be asked from them by DYG or even their schools.

Also, during the holding of the previous camps, declarations and advocacies were formulated whose topics include those on sanctity of life, family, the environment, justice and peace.

Aside from the annual activities that are held, student leaders have been given retreats and recollections, leadership training seminars, symposia, and have participated in various environmental projects such as tree planting and waste segregation.

It also actively engages in outreach activities such as calamity assistance, orphanage and hospice care visit and advocate of the Habitat for Humanity (a build a house program for the homeless).

More importantly, the DOMNET Youth Group was able to build lasting friendship among individuals despite differences in personalities. Great stories have been told and wonderful songs made. But the journey continues

The Game is going on when I took this photo, when the sunrise is about to go down and it's getting dark at that time. The colour of the reddish sunrise and the blueish sky and a little bit of darkness is a perfect combination.
